David Cameron has given his ministers a free say on whether they would like to stay within or leave the EU.
Is this a clear lack of leadership and an ineffective whip within the party?, with many opposing views on this issue…. or….
Is he merely allowing his MPs a chance to have their own say (perhaps to make them like him a bit more), and to force the likes of Theresa May and Boris Johnson out from the cracks?
Either way, when Corbyn allowed a free vote on bombing ISIS in Syria he was ridiculed and mocked, so it will be interesting to see the media and public reaction.
